World Food Safety Day

World Food Safety Day (WFSD) is an annual event and conference dedicated to raising awareness about food safety across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The 2024 edition will be the largest of its kind in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, taking place in multiple locations and culminating in Riyadh on July 15. The event aims to prevent, detect, and manage foodborne risks, supporting food security, public health, and sustainable development. WFSD promotes the slogan “FOOD SAFETY, EVERYONE’S BUSINESS,” highlighting the shared responsibility among governments, producers, the private sector, civil society, and consumers.
