About the Company

Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) is the first medical school in Qatar, established in 2001 as a branch of Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University. Located in Education City near Doha, it focuses on medical education, patient care, and biomedical research. WCM-Q offers an integrated Six-Year Medical Program for high school graduates and a Four-Year Medical Curriculum for students with prior undergraduate degrees. The school awards the Cornell University Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and has grown to over 320 students from around 35 countries. WCM-Q is supported by partnerships with Cornell University, Qatar Foundation, Hamad Medical Corporation, and Sidra Medicine.
