The UK Oman Digital Hub is an initiative by the British Embassy in Muscat, established to enhance cooperation in digital skills and cyber security following the 2019 Oman-UK Comprehensive Agreement. The hub aims to diversify Oman's economy by supporting startups, providing digital employment training, and building cyber resilience. The hub operates through two main workstreams: 'Cyber Skills' and 'Digital Economy.' 'Cyber Skills' focuses on developing workforce skills and career motivation in cyber security through education and qualifications. 'Digital Economy' supports startup communities by boosting digital technology employment with training and mentoring.
