About the Company
The United Arab Emirates Armed Forces (UAEAF) is the unified military of the UAE, established in 1976 to defend the nation and contribute to global peace efforts. Headquartered primarily in Abu Dhabi, the UAEAF was formed by merging separate emirate defense forces into a centralized structure, with H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan serving as the Supreme Commander. The force has grown significantly, from 3,000 personnel at its inception to approximately 65,000 today. The UAEAF consists of six main branches: the UAE Army, UAE Navy, UAE Air Force, UAE Presidential Guard, UAE Joint Aviation Command, and UAE National Guard.
