Qatar Museums

Qatar Museums (QM) is a Qatari government entity established in 2005, dedicated to promoting art, culture, and heritage in Qatar. It oversees a diverse network of museums, heritage sites, public art, and cultural festivals, aiming to enrich lives and cultivate creative potential. Under the leadership of Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, QM aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, focusing on cultural participation, national narratives, talent development, and sustainability. QM manages several key institutions, including the Museum of Islamic Art, the National Museum of Qatar, and the Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art.
