New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is a selective liberal arts and science college established in 2008 through a partnership between New York University and the government of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The college opened its permanent campus on Saadiyat Island in 2010, aiming to foster global leaders through a research-oriented education that emphasizes cross-cultural understanding and innovation. With a 4% acceptance rate, it ranks among the world's most selective liberal arts colleges and has produced notable alumni, including 16 Rhodes Scholars. NYUAD offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in various fields, including liberal arts, sciences, humanities, social sciences, arts, and engineering.
