National Lead Smelting Company

The National Lead Smelting Company Ltd., known as RASASS, is a leading Saudi Arabian company focused on lead smelting and recycling. Established in the mid-1980s, RASASS began commercial production in 1995 at its facility in Riyadh. It is the largest lead smelter in Saudi Arabia, with an annual production capacity of 36,000 metric tons of lead and the ability to recycle over 70,000 metric tons of lead-acid batteries each year, achieving a 95% recycling rate. RASASS produces high-purity lead ingots and various lead alloys, while also offering recycled by-products from battery scrap.
