Muslim Council of Elders

The Muslim Council of Elders is an international organization established on July 19, 2014, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the Council consists of distinguished Muslim scholars and leaders dedicated to promoting peace, dialogue, and tolerance within and beyond Muslim communities. The Council's mission includes combating extremism, hate speech, and Islamophobia while fostering human coexistence and fraternity. It organizes various initiatives, such as international conferences and forums, to empower youth in peacebuilding and enhance the role of religious leaders in addressing global challenges.
