Ministry of Education of Oman

The Ministry of Education (MOE) of Oman is the governmental body overseeing the country's pre-university education system, which includes preschool through Grades 1-12. It focuses on policy development, curriculum design, student assessment, and providing administrative support to schools across public and private sectors. The MOE operates under the leadership of Minister Madeeha bint Ahmed bin Nassir al Shibaniyah and has been implementing reforms to enhance student-centered, activity-based learning since 1998. The MOE develops national education policies and curricula, supervises preschool education, and approves curricula for private schools to ensure alignment with national standards.
