Kuwait University

Kuwait University (KU) is the first public research university in Kuwait, established in 1966. It serves as the leading institution for higher education and research in the country, with a mission to preserve knowledge, foster innovation, and develop human capital. Initially starting with four colleges and 418 students, KU has grown to accommodate over 40,000 students and 1,565 faculty members across 17 colleges. The university offers a wide range of academic programs, including 76 undergraduate and 71 graduate programs, along with PhD opportunities in various fields such as sciences, engineering, humanities, and medicine.
