Kuwait Army

The Kuwait Army, officially known as the Kuwait Land Forces, is the land warfare branch of the Kuwait Armed Forces. Established in 1949, it is the oldest component of Kuwait's military, with roots tracing back to cavalry and infantry units that defended Al-Kout Fortress in the 19th century. The Kuwait Land Forces operate under the Kuwait Ministry of Defense and are structured to include various military branches, such as the Kuwait Air Force and Kuwait Naval Force. The Kuwait Land Forces conduct operations in both desert and urban environments and maintain partnerships with international allies, including the U.S. Army. They focus on national defense, training, and security operations.
