KNET, officially known as The Shared Electronic Banking Services Company (K.S.C.C.), is a Kuwaiti company established in 1992. It was created as a joint venture among local banks to provide shared electronic banking services across Kuwait and the GCC region. Headquartered in Kuwait City, KNET employs around 233 people and operates as Kuwait's national financial switch, regulated by the Central Bank of Kuwait. KNET offers a wide range of electronic banking and payment services. These include automated interbank links, Point-of-Sale (POS) services, ATM services, and a payment gateway for e-commerce and e-government transactions.
