The International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC) is a global conservation organization based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, dedicated to preserving the houbara bustard species. Founded by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, IFHC leads efforts in captive breeding, release programs, research, and education initiatives. The organization manages several breeding centers, including the National Avian Research Center in Sweihan and facilities in Morocco and Kazakhstan. Since its inception, IFHC has bred over 629,000 houbara chicks, with more than 487,000 released into the wild.
