Hope Consortium

The Hope Consortium is a public-private partnership based in Abu Dhabi, focused on providing a comprehensive global supply chain solution for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. It was launched to ensure vaccine availability worldwide, with the capacity to handle over six billion doses in 2021, scaling to three times that by the end of 2022. The consortium connects local and international entities, facilitating the transport, storage, and regulatory compliance necessary for effective vaccine distribution. Key members include the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, which oversees regulatory compliance and scientific insight, and Etihad Cargo, responsible for air freight.
