HAYAWY is keen on protecting the environment and its inhabitants which includes people by utilizing used cooking oil as an alternative in energy production. Whilst a lot of people and businesses consider cooking oil as a waste product, HAYAWY sees it as a valuable resource for drastic industrialization. This reduces the need for new vegetable oils in the production of biodiesel such as the use of rapeseed oil in the process. Rapeseed is now produced for biodiesel more than before whilst rainforests are being destroyed to access problematic palm oil.
