Gulf Health Council

The Gulf Health Council (GHC) is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 1976, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is linked to the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and operates with legal, financial, and administrative independence. GHC coordinates health efforts among GCC member states, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, with Yemen joining in 2003. GHC's mission is to develop a joint Gulf health strategy that supports the health sector through unified policies and preventive measures.
