Dubai Media Council

The Dubai Media Council (DMC) is a governmental body established to enhance and govern Dubai's media sector. Formed under Law No. (5) of 2022, it operates within the UAE Media Council framework, which oversees media regulation at the federal level. The DMC is responsible for developing media strategies, supervising their implementation, and coordinating media efforts across local, regional, and international platforms. The council's core functions include managing media licensing, monitoring content for compliance with ethical standards, and supporting talent development in the media industry.
