Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) is a leading producer of chlor-alkali derivatives and specialty chemicals based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1967, BCI began full production in 1973 and has since grown to become the largest privately owned chemical company in the Kingdom. The company is publicly listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange and employs around 344 people, generating approximately $198.9 million in revenue. BCI specializes in manufacturing liquefied chlorine gas, caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hypochlorite, with significant production capacity at its Dammam plant and ongoing expansions at its New Jubail facility.
