Applied Research Center for Environment and Marine Studies - KFUPM

The Applied Research Center for Environment and Marine Studies (ARC-EMS) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) is a prominent research center established in 1977. It focuses on applied research in environmental, water, and marine studies, having completed over 330 projects valued at more than 850 million Saudi Riyals. The center is directed by Fahad Saleh Al-Ismail and specializes in areas such as environmental impact assessments, marine studies, fisheries, and terrestrial ecology. ARC-EMS offers a range of services, including environmental impact assessments, marine and fisheries studies, water and waste management, and climate and sustainability initiatives.
