Amiri Hospital

Amiri Hospital is Kuwait's first government-owned general hospital, established in 1949 in Kuwait City. It serves around 400,000 patients annually and has a capacity of approximately 630 beds. The hospital has undergone significant expansions, including a major project from 2013 to 2018 that added a new 16-floor building and advanced medical facilities. As a key public healthcare provider under the Ministry of Health, Amiri Hospital offers a wide range of general and specialized medical services. Its facilities include a modern emergency department, intensive care units, operating theaters, and diagnostic imaging centers.
