AMAK Mining Company

Almasane Alkobra Mining Company (AMAK) is Saudi Arabia's first private-sector mining company, established in 2008 and publicly listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange since March 2022. The company specializes in producing copper, zinc, gold, and silver concentrates from its operations in the Kingdom. AMAK began construction at the Al Masane copper-zinc mine in 2010 and achieved commercial production in 2012. It has since expanded its operations, including the commissioning of the Guyan Gold Mine in 2021 and the completion of the Moyeath processing plant, which increased ore processing capacity to 1.2 million tonnes annually.
