Who We Are & What We Do Ali Mohamed Taher Building Materials Est. is one of the pioneers in the Building Materials supplies Trade established in 1977. It all started in May 1977, when Mr. AliMohamed Tahir, an Emira bank execuve turned Building Materials shop manager decided to venture into trading building materials in Sharjah. UAE was just a collecon of 7 adjoining barren desert lands formed into a naon merely 6 years ago. The fishing and the dying pearling industry on which the emirates depended before 1962, discovered a new resource, Oil, inially exported by Abu Dhabi and followed 4 by Dubai in 1969.
