About the Company

The Al-Madinah Region Development Authority (MDA) is a Saudi Arabian governmental agency established on December 28, 2009. It is dedicated to planning and developing the Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah region, including the holy city of Medina, in line with Vision 2030. MDA focuses on sustainable urban planning, economic development, and infrastructure enhancement to serve both residents and millions of visitors. MDA oversees a range of initiatives aimed at transforming Medina into a smart, livable city. It manages an area of approximately 149,207 km² and coordinates with regional councils and municipalities to implement strategic plans and urban information systems.
